Ensures an Accurate and Consistent Product
Peerless Creations has the ability to thoroughly inspect and test a product to get the best results for your company. Products are different and may require a variety of reasons for inspection and testing of assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and finished products.
Testing may consist of:
- Accuracy of Dimensions
- Functionality
- Durability
- Pressure Testing
- Temperature Cycling
- Vibration Testing
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
The animation is displaying a drop test for a diffused light cap being dropped on the spot with the least amount of support to simulate how it would withstand an impact. The customer wanted to see how the shock load of the piece would be dissipated.
This animation demonstrates an example of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Finite Element Analysis is a computer simulation used in engineering analysis. A common use of FEA is for the determination of stresses and displacements in mechanical objects and systems. It is used in the analysis of many other types of problems, including those in heat transfer, solid‑state diffusion, and reactions with moving boundaries. There are three steps in using Finite Element Analysis. The first step is preprocessing, which is constructing a finite element model of the structure to be analyzed. The next step is analysis which is the computation of finding the solution. The final step is the visualization of the final test. This will allow you to view and fully identify the implications of the analysis. Finite Element Analysis is an important process, and it will help to better suit your company.
